Waiting Brings Us Together As One
The Lord highlighted this verse to me: “The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.” Lamentations 3:25-26. I had been asking Him to complete His salvation in me. “You have waited for me and I have waited for you. We are joined in the waiting. Waiting brings us together, as one, in life.” I kissed His hand. He sat on the floor next to me in His white robes with a dark grey shawl over His head and shoulders. I moved closer to lay my head on His chest. He kissed my forehead softly. I asked the Holy Spirit, “Birth Jesus in me” and then turned to Jesus, “Conceive yourself in me.” I asked. “Cause me to be what you created me to be. I agree with your story. Cause me to fulfill everything you wrote in my book – no blank pages. Let it be a book of love. Fulfill the expression of your love in me.”
I thought about how the word “wait” means “to entwine.” “I love you. Let me love you with my whole being. I want to love you.” I understood that when we wait for Him, we are allowing Him to entwine us with Himself so that the two become one, even though we may not feel or see anything. I kissed His neck and chest again and slid down to my knees, kissing His feet. “Jesus I love you.” I whispered, caressing them lovingly.
